何百万人もの勇敢なエジプト人たちは、今まさに運命の選択を迫られている。この数日間で数千人が投獄、傷害を受けるか、殺害されてしまった。しかし平和的な抗議をたたみかければ、何十年間も続いた独裁を終わらせることができるだろう。

抗議に立ち上がった者たちは国際連帯を訴えているが、独裁政権はこのような事態における連帯の力を知っている。だからこそ独裁政権は死に物狂いでインターネットとモバイルネットワークを完全に遮断し、エジプト人たちを世界から隔絶させ、エジプト人同士の連絡を絶とうとしている。

People power is sweeping the Middle East. In days, peaceful protesters brought down Tunisia’s 30-year dictatorship. Now the protests are spreading to Egypt, Yemen, Jordan and beyond.
